Diagnosis before parts
Anyone can swap a capacitor and hope. The harder part — the part that decides whether you're calling us again in three weeks — is finding the actual fault instead of the obvious one. A system that freezes up might have a refrigerant problem, or a dirty coil, or a blower that isn't moving the air it should, or ductwork that was never right to begin with. Those are four different repairs.
Our technicians are trained across all major brands and carry the instruments to measure what's happening rather than guess at it: charge weighed and verified, airflow and static pressure measured, electrical checked. You get told what's wrong, what it takes to fix it, and what it costs before the work starts.
And if a repair doesn't make sense against the age of the equipment, we'll say so rather than sell you a repair we know won't hold.
What we get called for
It isn't cooling or heating
Running but not keeping up, or not coming on at all. The most common call we get, and the one where a real diagnosis saves the most money.
Water, ice or a smell
A drain pan overflowing, a coil frozen solid, a burning smell at the first cold snap. All worth a call before they turn into damage.
A room that's always wrong
One room hot, one cold, humidity that never settles. Usually airflow or duct design rather than the equipment — and fixable once someone measures it.
Maintenance is the cheapest thing we sell
Annual maintenance is the least glamorous thing we do and the thing that most reliably keeps our customers off the emergency schedule when the weather turns. A visit includes coil cleaning, refrigerant charge verification, electrical and safety checks, and a written report of what we found — so a part that's drifting gets replaced on a Tuesday in April rather than failing on the hottest Saturday of the year.
We offer maintenance agreements for homes and for commercial buildings. For commercial customers, scheduled service also keeps manufacturer warranty coverage intact.
The other half of it you can do yourself: change the filter on time. Set up filter delivery and the right one shows up at your door.
