Why geothermal works here
A few feet down, the ground in Northeast Arkansas stays a nearly constant temperature year-round — cooler than the July air, warmer than the January air. A geothermal heat pump exchanges with that stable ground temperature instead of the outdoor air, so it isn't fighting a 98-degree afternoon or a 20-degree night. The result is a system that runs on a fraction of the energy a conventional heat pump or air conditioner uses.

One heat pump, more than one way to heat
Forced air
The most common setup: a geothermal air handler ties into standard ductwork, heating and cooling the whole house the way a conventional system would — just far more efficiently.
In-floor radiant heat
Some geothermal heat pumps can heat water for radiant floor tubing instead of, or alongside, forced air — even, gentle heat with no vents and no cold spots. We've installed it as the primary heat source for new construction on a poured slab.
Both, from one system
A single geothermal heat pump can be set up to provide forced-air cooling in the summer and radiant floor heat in the winter — one loop field, one piece of equipment, two ways of delivering comfort.
Not every job needs a loop field
Ductless mini-split systems are the right answer for additions, detached shops, cabins, and older homes where extending ductwork isn't practical. One or two small outdoor condensers, an indoor head in the room that needs it, no duct losses.
